The Whispering Iron<\/strong> was first discovered by\u00a0Benjamin Locke\u00a0in 1775, during the Revolutionary War. A small army hiding in the\u00a0Drowning Cave\u00a0had an encounter with the\u00a0Black Door, during which\u00a0Harm Timmerman\u00a0was possessed by a demon. Other demons were unable to find hosts, however, and fell dead, turning into Whispering Iron.<\/p>\n

Benjamin used the first piece of the Iron to forge the\u00a0Omega Key\u00a0to seal the gateway shut, stopping any more demons from entering the world.<\/p>\n
