With every kill, June adds a new voice to her twisted Greek chorus \u2014 and another eight pounds of literal baggage.<\/p>\n<p>Bluestone will finance the darkly funny action horror comedy, with Akiva Goldsman and Greg Lessans producing for\u00a0Weed Road\u00a0alongside Director of Development Shiva Nassab, who brought the project to the company and will be overseeing. Lyonne will produce for\u00a0Animal Pictures, with Animal Pictures\u2019 EVP of Film and Television Dannah Shinder exec producing, and Animal\u2019s Creative Executive Max Ferguson overseeing. Richard Saperstein, Brooke Saperstein, and Annie Saperstein will produce for Bluestone Entertainment, with Beau Turpin exec producing for the company.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">In a statement to Deadline, Lyonne shared that she\u2019s \u201cthrilled to work with the ingenious auteur Ana Lily Amirpour on such beloved IP and so grateful that Akiva and Bluestone brought it to us at Animal to develop. This one\u2019s gonna be a knockout!\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">Said Amirpour: \u201cI\u2019m very excited to team up with the wickedly funny and brilliant Natasha Lyonne to adapt this comic into a film. We\u2019re going to bring to life a new type of antihero who gets pulled into a bizarre adventure that unleashes something inside her and turns her life inside out. Lyonne also currently stars in Animal\u2019s Emmy-nominated series\u00a0<em>Poker Face<\/em>, which is heading into its second season, and will next be seen in Marvel\u2019s\u00a0<em>The Fantastic Four: First Steps<\/em>, as well as 3000 Pictures\u2019\u00a0<em>Klara and the Sun<\/em>.
