In Hell, he activated the sword and used it to slice through Hacker&#8217;s damned soul as well as his demonic horse. Once the battle had concluded, Fiddler&#8217;s Green returned it to Mary.<\/p>\n<p>Its sword was briefly handled by\u00a0Bode Locke\u00a0when he moved into Keyhouse in 2011. However, he was distracted by the\u00a0Ghost Key and quickly forgot about it.<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"Non-canon_history\" class=\"mw-headline\">Non-canon history<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>In the &#8220;Only Bad&#8221; Alternate Ending, Bode, instead of noticing the\u00a0Ghost Key, finds the Sword Key, inserts it into the handle and turns it. He then accidentally falls, and the sword slices Bode clean in half, killing him. His bisected body is later discovered by his horrified family.<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"Uses\" class=\"mw-headline\">Uses<\/span><\/h2>\n<div class=\"cquote\">\n<div>\n<div>&#8220;There&#8217;s a Key for the handle. If we get into a spot, give the hilt a twist. It&#8217;ll cut through anything. An iron block, a horse, a demon, a human soul.\u201d<br \/>\n\u2013Mary Locke.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>When the false pommel of the sword is removed and the Key is inserted into the handle and twisted in, it renders the sword sharp enough to cut through anything with one slice. The sword can even cut through the comic&#8217;s fourth wall and cut the dialogue balloons. The Key now acts as the sword&#8217;s pommel.G9<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"Door\" class=\"mw-headline\">Door<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The Hilt of one of the two swords hanging above the fireplace mantel in the Winter Study of\u00a0Keyhouse Manor.
